Golf Course Renovation Overview and Hole Changes

Letter to Surrounding Neighborhoods and HOAS Regarding Renovation

A Few Responses to Website Inquiries

Resident inquires. We appreciate the neighborhood interest in knowing more about our golf course renovation. However, our staff had not been asked or trained to answer specific phone inquiries.  As explained in our homeowner letter, all inquiries must be directed through this website and responses will be posted here as well. Your cooperation in this regard is greatly appreciated.

Tree removal. Trees, shrubs, and other types of vegetation are an important visual aspect to our golf course and we appreciate the neighborhood interest in what we will be doing to the landscape. To make way for the renovation some trees and shrubs will need to be moved or removed, but the majority will remain. Removal of designated trees and bushes has begun and will continue into early May. Debris from these cuttings is being moved to the left side of the 13th hole, which parallels Rattlesnake Hammock Road, and will be used to create a grass berm along that side of the fairway.  A landscape plan for planting new trees and vegetation is in progress in consultation with the golf course architect.

Aesthetic improvements and Architectural plans to the course. We understand the curiosity of neighbors about specifics of the renovation.  However, the plans we are currently dealing with are concepts of how the renovations will appear, and are not final. There may be issues that arise that will cause these concepts to be altered.  For the most part, the course will remain very similar to the current layout.

More information coming soon!  If you have any questions or comments, you may submit them in the box below.  Please be advised that Royal Palm Country Club will not be responding to individual inquiries but will address common subjects of interest and post responses on this page.  Please check here for further information.
